At Berwick Primary School OSHC, we provide a safe, welcoming and engaging environment where children can learn, play, connect and thrive before and after school.
Our program is designed to support each child's wellbeing, confidence, curiosity and sense of belonging through meaningful play experiences and positive relationships. With a strong focus on fun, creativity and connection, every session offers opportunities for children to explore their interests, develop new skills and build friendships in a supportive environment.
Our experienced and caring educators create programs that cater to a wide range of ages, interests and abilities. Whether children are enjoying quiet activities, creative experiences, outdoor play or group games, there is something for everyone. Nutritious food options, including healthy breakfasts and afternoon snacks, are also provided each day.
Our OSHC program is guided by the National Quality Framework and the My Time, Our Place framework, helping us create a safe, inclusive and engaging environment where children feel a sense of belonging.
The service operates in accordance with a range of policies and procedures that support the safe and effective operation of the program. Families are welcome to contact OSHC at any time should they wish to access our policies.
BSC provides children with a calm and positive start to the day. Students can enjoy a healthy breakfast, connect with friends and take part in a variety of engaging activities or enjoy quiet experiences such as reading before heading off to class.
Breakfast is served until 8am.
ASC provides a fun and relaxed environment where children can unwind, socialise and take part in a variety of engaging activities after school. Each afternoon includes planned experiences, opportunities for free play and child-led activities, as well as quiet spaces for children who prefer time to relax.
A healthy afternoon snack is provided 3.30pm and supper at 6pm.
Our Pupil Free Day and Holiday Programs provide children with full days of engaging and enjoyable experiences designed to keep them active, connected and involved. Programs offer a wide variety of activities that cater to different ages, interests and abilities, ensuring there is something for everyone. Each day is thoughtfully planned to provide a balance of fun, learning and social opportunities within a safe, caring and inclusive environment.
